Evan continued to record and photograph as much as he could about the fire’s movements. He even turned to his Facebook Live tool, traveling around the city and responding to people who were asking about their homes. Evan was able to provide some people with peace of mind, by showing them that their homes were still in-tact and far away from the fire still. Evan hoped that by doing all of this, he could ease people’s minds, and also keep them safe.

Challenges
Evan’s phone and drone were struggling to keep their power. Power lines were going down, and only one cell tower was functioning. Evan had to keep traveling between his dad’s place and his own, using a generator to charge his gadgets. If his phone died, he would be unable to inform people about what was going on! This wasn’t an option. As helpful as Evan was being, there were quite a few important requests from his followers.
