In the 1970s, McQueen lived in Malibu, and his neighbor was Keith Moon, the drummer in The Who band. Moon liked to leave his bathroom light on, which faced McQueen’s bedroom, so he couldn’t sleep. Finally, Steve shot it with a shotgun.

Though Steve McQueen was a huge success, he did miss out on a few roles. One of the most notable roles he turned down was for Breakfast at Tiffany’s. He was offered the Paul Varjak part, but he’d already promised to work on Wanted Dead or Alive.
