Mary Poppins is a beloved character and is one of popular culture’s most famous nannies. She first appeared in the 1964 Mary Poppins Disney film, portrayed by none other than Julie Andrews. A 2018 reboot was made, called Mary Poppins Returns, this time starring Emily Blunt in the iconic role. Andrews was offered a cameo, but she declined.
The Halloween horror film franchise is one of the most iconic series of the genre. Jamie Lee Curtis became known for playing protagonist Laurie Strode, debuting the role in 1978 and continued to play the role until now. A 2022 film called Halloween Ends is in the work, with Curtis in her iconic role. However, in a 2007 Rob Zombie rendition of the film, Laurie was played by actress Scout Taylor-Compton.
