Trying Other Things
While Elliot is best known for being an actor, he has picked up some other skills over time. Not surprisingly, Elliot has excelled at a handful of other talents, including writing, production, and even singing! In 2006, Elliot sang a cover of the song “I Won’t Back Down”, for an animated film called Barnyard. People that didn’t know Elliot were immediately entranced by his voice, and some of his popular films started being watched again.

Going Strong
Sam Elliot and Katherine Ross have been together for more than 30 years, and they are still going strong. As a young man, Elliot always wanted two things: an acting career, and a family. Now that he has both, he feels very grateful for how his life turned out. He knows that his father is probably resting at ease now, seeing how his life turned out. The man still continues to enjoy his career, but makes sure to make time for the little things in life. After all, he’s worked hard to enjoy them.
