The Mystery Lake
Evan began entering all kinds of strange searches into his computer. He was looking for something along the lines of ‘large hole in lake’, and ‘suction hole in bodies of water’. It seemed ridiculous, but Evan had no idea if there was an actual term for this phenomenon. Of course, there was little information or photos that were connected to these searches. Was he really the first person to find something like this? Then, he began to learn some history about this lake that he never knew.

Dark Past
Although there wasn’t anything to find on a large hole in Lake Berryessa, there was a story about a woman who was swimming in the lake in 1997. Her name was Emily Schwalek, and the woman had been swimming in the lake when she encountered a type of whirlpool. The swimmer allegedly got stuck in the spinning waves, and attempted to cling to the edge for about 20 minutes before finally being sucked in. She drowned shortly thereafter.
