Emperor Nero
Roman Emperor Nero was just 17 when he began his rule. He was not respected since he was also an avid musician, poet, actor, and charioteer. Members of the elite did not approve of him after he decided to raise taxes for funds for both private and public uses. He was known for his tyranny and debauchery.

What Nero Really Looked Like
Using ancient busts as inspiration, Spanish artists worked hard recreate what he may have actually looked like. Nero died on June 9th, 68, with his last words being “Too late! This is fidelity!”
