Watch Out Below
A chasm, or gorge, is a deep opening into the Earth’s surface, creating a whole big enough to swallow anything caught above it. This particular chasm, found in Guatemala City, managed to swallow a 3-story factory building. The hole is a remnant of the tropical storm, Agatha, which hit in the year 2010. The chasm reached 65 feet across and 300 feet deep. The lack of regulations was to blame for the hole’s appearance. The government is working to cut down on the unexpected manifestation of these holes.

Thanks to the clear waters of this amazing location, a drone flying over Morrison’s Quarry in Chelsea, Quebec was able to obtain this magnificent image. The beach is a treasure trove for scuba diver trainees, offering a lot more than sunken airplanes, but also other sunken jewels like cars and tugboats. One of the vehicles found below the water is a prop from a movie shot on location, the other belongs to two thieves with obviously questionable driving skills.
