A City Above the Rest
The photo was taken by Bachir Moukarzel, taken at sunset in Dubai. What was once an area populated by a desert 10 years before the photo was taken is not crowded with an assortment of varying styles of buildings. Bachir describes it as “a concrete jungle with the highest buildings in Dubai.” The image looks like an amusement park of colors and designs, it is a great example of how far and how quickly an economy can grow and prosper.

A Cross Between Different Worlds
This image was captured by Oliver Symon and utilizes 12 different shots merged together. It is a panoramic shot of Iceland’s magnificent landscapes. The image looks like a colliding of different worlds, a splendid and dazzling view with the murk of fog-like clouds floating over a large mountain off in the distance. The snow that covers the surface of the mountains in the far back adds to the overall surreal feel of the image. The use of rivers and roads makes it look abstract.
