The City of Rainbows
This sunset was captured over Annecy, France. A small rainbow is seen protruding from the water, reaching up towards the bridge. The rainbow, although small, really adds to the magic of the photo, turning an ordinary snapshot of a town into a masterpiece. The sun shining over the tallest building, slightly obscuring it, makes the landscape look like a work of art. The crowdedness of the town is overshadowed by the beauty of the elements.

The Construction of Ice
Taken in East Greenland, this image won for the best photo in the nature category in the 2017 contest held by Dronestagram. Florian Ledoux, the photographer, moved to Reykjavik, Iceland to get closer to the Arctic and thanks to his proximity to Greenland, began taking photos of the landscape in 2014. The photo shows large ice capes that accumulated on the water. While flying his drone in the remote landscape, he notes that his drone was attacked multiple times by 2 Gyrfalcon, a large falcon species indigenous to the Arctic.
