Cracks in the Ice
This photo gives off a simplistic and minimalistic vide. The black, white, and gray only add to the overall feeling the image gives off. The large, veiny series of cracks stretching out over the snow creates a sense of danger to the viewer. Will the hole created by the cracks get any larger? How far will they continue to travel? Will the tree several meters away meet its demise beneath the icy ground? The scenery would fare well in a noir film.

This intersection, appropriately named Spaghetti Junction, is the country’s slowest interchange and yearly tops the list of the most popular traffic spots published by the American Transportation Research Institute. It is Atlanta, Georgia’s worse bottlenecks as rated by truckers, a point of congestion where workloads arrive too quickly. The state hopes to rebuild ramps and interchanges and add express lanes. Anyone having to drive these roads would most likely suffer the worst influx of road rage the world has ever seen.
