Her most notable films include Singin’ in the Rain, The King and I, West Side Story, Carnal Knowledge, The Four Seasons, I Like It Like That, and most recently the remake of West Side Story. She married husband Leonard Gordon, who was a cardiologist, in 1965. They were together until he passed away in 2010. They had one daughter together.

She was married to actor Paul Newman from 1958 until he passed away in 2008. They frequently collaborated on him films together.
