The film rendition of Stephen King’s novel Carrie became a huge hit and has been called one of the greatest horror films to ever be made. She was played by Sissy Spacek in the 1976 film. In 2002, a remake was made with Angela Bettis in the lead role. Chloë Grace Moretz played the most recent version in the 2013 remake.

She has also been portrayed by countless actress like Iga Edwardes, Liliana Komorowska, Anne Baxter, Morgan Fairchild, Charlotte Rampling, Anna Chancellor, Rachel McAdams, and most recently, Natalie Dormer from 2012 until 2019 in TV series Elementary.
